Estimating Role

As an Estimator, you will work on residential and commercial projects, preparing accurate costings across glazing, aluminium, and façade packages.

About the Position
  • Prepare comprehensive BOQs, detailed cost breakdowns, and competitive quotes for clients.
  • Manage estimating processes for glazing, aluminium, and façade packages, ensuring timely delivery and high accuracy.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, trades, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and foster strong relationships.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying potential issues and opportunities.
  • Identify quoting opportunities and monitor tender alerts to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Support procurement processes and project handovers, ensuring seamless transitions and client satisfaction.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years' experience in estimating within the construction industry, with a background in glazing, aluminium, or façade estimating highly regarded.
  • Strong product knowledge in glass and aluminium systems, including latest trends and technologies.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications, with ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • High level of accuracy, organisation, and document control skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder coordination, including verbal and written communication.
  • Perth-based experience and full Australian working rights, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
