Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who can effectively manage the day-to-day operational excellence of our site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing smooth team operation, online auctions, and determining the best strategy to remarket assets. They will also be required to liaise with multiple internal departments, maintain client relationships, and complete regular client and vendor reporting.

Additionally, the Operations Manager will be responsible for running advertising campaigns, coordinating auction estimates, and valuations. They will also assist in the valuation of off-site valuations as required and actively contact buyers to ensure all auction items have competitive bidding.

The ideal candidate will have strong decision-making and organizational skills, excellent time management and attention to detail. They will also have logistics proficiency and sound knowledge of trucks, machinery, and plant. Proficient MS Office computer and internet research skills are also essential.

Other key skills include a positive, constructive, and 'forward thinking' working relationship style, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a motivated approach to operational efficiencies and improvement.
