About the Role:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Specialist, Climate Solutions to join our team at S&P Global. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction in the Energy Transition space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive Net Annual Contract Value (ACV) growth for Energy Transition services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer experience.
  • Cultivate a diverse pipeline of opportunities for Energy Transition Market Data and Insights across all segments of clients in the Oceania region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to ensure aligned sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to illustrate the value of our Energy Transition offering and position us for success against competitors.
  • Participate in planning and executing account management schedules and detailed action plans to meet and exceed assigned net sales goals and customer metrics.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of B2B sales and/or industry experience, preferably in Sustainability or Energy Transition space.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets, developing new markets, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to work with C-Level stakeholders.
  • Strong solution-selling background with experience in maximizing customer value through coordinated account planning and team approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM Systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel 20-30%+ within the assigned territory.
