Key Responsibilities- Senior Finance Business Partner: Act as the Senior Finance Business Partner for the Climate, Environment and Engagement Managing Director and Service Group Leaders.
- Financial Strategy Development: Manage, develop and oversee the implementation of financial and commercial strategies, providing technical guidance and monitoring delivery against financial goals and broader business objectives.
- Business Planning and Performance Management: Prepare and manage business plans and reforecasts, including setting business performance goals, monthly review process and reporting and driving business accountability to achieve outcomes.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Ensure robust review processes are in place for projects in delivery including revenue recognition, cash flow management (included tactical and regular review of project costs to complete).
- Strategic Financial Analysis: Perform strategic financial analysis to review business and market performance and key trends against strategic priorities.
- Business Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement initiatives to drive business performance.
- Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of business group resources by providing support to Service Group Leaders in the effective management of staff utilisation and overhead costs.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager, Climate Environment who has a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future. You will have a broad range of experiences throughout your career and be able to demonstrate how you have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life. The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant technical qualification and technical post tertiary qualifications including CA or CPA qualifications or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar position coupled with a high level of commercial acumen.
- A clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between Finance/Commercial initiatives and business strategy.
- Significant knowledge of Finance/Commercial policies, processes and talent management practices.
- The ability to collect and synthesize large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to engage, inspire, and influence.
