The Department of the Legislative Council is a dynamic and hard-working team that supports the work of the Legislative Council, the Upper House of the NSW Parliament. Our team acts as a check and balance on the Executive Government, providing exceptional services to our key stakeholders.
About the PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and suitably experienced Principal Council Officer (PCO) to join our Corporate and Bicentenary (Black Rod) Office. The PCO plays a significant role in managing exhibition spaces, protocol, arranging events, and briefing the President for their appearance at Budget Estimates.
Job Description- Manage the Fountain Court and Reconciliation Wall exhibition spaces
- Provide assistance in arranging significant events
- Brief the President for their appearance at Budget Estimates
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are desirable. Applicants need to bring a commitment to the democratic process and an interest in understanding how it works in New South Wales.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful applicant will receive a salary of $116,211 – $128,061 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. We offer comprehensive training, ongoing career development, and excellent working conditions.
