As the Director of Digital Services, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and execution of digital services within MEAA Federal. This includes planning, designing, and delivering digital services that enhance member and supporter experiences, drive growth, and align with union objectives.

You will work closely with senior leadership to define a comprehensive membership transformation strategy, create a technology roadmap, and ensure seamless integration of digital assets and membership solutions across departments.

Key duties include:

  • Developing and implementing digital services that meet the needs of members and supporters
  • Leading change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes
  • Implementing data-driven strategies to enhance customer insights, personalisation, and decision-making
  • Managing the digital services budget and allocating resources efficiently to achieve project milestones and objectives
  • Monitoring digital systems performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A track record in digital communications and a passion for mobilising people for action and building ongoing supporter relationships and networks
  • Proven experience in developing digital services within unions, with a solid understanding of CRM systems, membership systems, digital assets for unions, and member journey mapping
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence at all levels
  • Familiarity with data management, analytics, and security principles related to membership systems and other digital assets utilised within unions
