Position Summary

We are in search of an exceptional Culinary Events Director to join our dynamic events kitchen team. Candidates with a background in high-pressure restaurants, functions, and event settings, delivering top-tier quality, are encouraged to connect with us. Your role will encompass the provision of exquisite food and beverages, engaging with the restaurant, bars, functions, and events throughout the year.

This position will report directly to the Executive Chef, and you will play a crucial role in the business planning, design, and decision-making processes regarding menu development and overall operations in this prestigious venue.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Chef, leading and managing a professional kitchen
  • Significant experience in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment
  • Proven ability to meet business objectives, financial targets, and service excellence
  • Experience in an upscale setting where similar food quality and standards are anticipated
  • Proficient in designing and costing à la carte, function, special events, and canapé menus
  • Strong creative skills with the ability to innovate while mentoring and developing a team
  • Experience managing kitchen costs, including food and labor, staff recruitment, and administrative responsibilities
  • Deep knowledge and enthusiasm for food quality and produce
  • Familiarity with industry-standard Health, Safety, and Sanitation protocols
