Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to lead the delivery of management accounting, financial analysis and procurement functions that support our operational and strategic goals. The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance leaders to ensure the organisation's financial performance and long-term sustainability are managed with insight, accuracy, and professionalism.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting: Lead the organisation's budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting functions to inform business decisions
  • Financial Planning: Assist the CFO with long-term financial planning, modelling, and scenario analysis to drive strategic growth
  • Procurement & Supply Chain: Oversee procurement functions in line with the procurement framework and best practice to optimise resource allocation
  • Financial Analysis & Advisory: Provide clear, data-driven advice to support strategic decision-making and drive business outcomes
  • Financial Systems & Tools: Develop and maintain systems and tools for financial reporting and performance analysis to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Audit & Compliance: Support audit processes, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards to maintain regulatory requirements

About You:

We are seeking a strategic and analytical accounting professional with a strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring experience with financial systems and reporting, along with the ability to lead and mentor staff.


Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance role
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements
  • Skills: Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and strong problem-solving and change management abilities
  • Certifications: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
