Finance Business Partner Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our organization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This role involves providing insightful financial analysis, commercial guidance, and strategic support to drive business performance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage reporting, analysis, and control of total operational expenditure, driving productivity initiatives and cost optimization.
  • Partner with senior leaders and functional heads to provide financial insight, forecasting, and analysis aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for designated areas, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Deliver variance analysis and commentary, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with functions including operations, commercial, and HR to influence financial outcomes and efficiency initiatives.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, concise reporting for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and performance management processes.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and compliance.
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance and business units, ensuring consistency of practices and policies.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a small Finance Business Partnering team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in Central Function Business Partnering or similar roles within large, complex, or multinational organizations.
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling, and commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data simply to non-financial audiences.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and advanced Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
  • Experienced people manager, confident in leading and developing a small team.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
