Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and management of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks for our Pacific region programs.

The ideal candidate will have advanced degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science or international development, and relevant qualifications in monitoring, evaluation, research, and data management. They must also possess excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as highly developed communication and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead MEL Framework Development: Coordinate and implement the MEL framework for the Pacific region programs.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and collate quantitative and qualitative data at individual project and whole-of-program levels.
  • M&E Methodologies: Develop and manage monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
  • Project Partnerships: Work with project partners to undertake monitoring and reporting.
  • Third-Party Implementation: Manage third-party implementation partners engaged to undertake surveys and analysis.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science or international development).
  • Relevant qualifications in monitoring, evaluation, research, and data management.
  • Knowledge of the Pacific and/or international development.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly developed communication and time-management skills.
