  • Provide executive support to senior executives and teams in international markets.
  • Manage workflows within the unit, ensuring quality control and effective coordination.
  • Balance conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, display professionalism, judgment, and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver business development support services:
    • Undertake research, analysis, and project support for the Pacific region.
    • Support event activities for Commissioners and Business Development Managers across the Pacific.
    • Assist in monitoring and updating client management systems for the Pacific region.
  • Maintain and develop business cases for the Pacific region in collaboration with industry teams.
  • Support senior executives with speech content and structure, including presentations and PowerPoints.
  • Deliver business administration support, providing confidential administrative and operational assistance to senior executives.
  • Coordinate departmental, ministerial, parliamentary, and cabinet briefings, agendas, reports, submissions, and presentations/events.
  • Diary and travel management; monthly budget analysis, expenditure approvals, invoices, and accounts; corporate card expenses reconciliation.
  • Participate in delivering and coordinating business management functions and projects domestically and internationally as required.
  • Ensure high accuracy in administrative documents related to divisional activities.
  • Coordinate stakeholder responses across the division on operational and policy matters.
  • Establish effective communication strategies, protocols, negotiation, and liaison activities across Pacific cultures and other organisations.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, enhancing commitment to long-term growth.
Requirements:
  • Proven knowledge of current Pacific matters and their impact on trade, investment, and international education engagement with Queensland.

Brisbane based.
