Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned territories
- Develop and maintain healthy pipelines of prospects
- Navigate complex sales cycles and negotiations
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Visit current customers and prospective clients' businesses to establish business opportunities
- Assess customers' needs, solve technical issues, drive product adoption and usage
- Develop and execute account plans to maximize customer value
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics
- Conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience (5+ years) in account management, preferably in the agri-tech or technology industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle customer issues and escalations effectively
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with agricultural practices and technologies is highly desirable
