Strategic HR Advisor

Are you an experienced generalist HR professional with a passion for delivering expert advice and solutions? PSP are seeking a dedicated professional to join a regional council East of Melbourne for an initial 6-month contract, remote working on offer with requirement to be in office as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance across a range of HR functions, including employee relations and industrial relations.
- Support enterprise agreement negotiations, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including performance management, grievances, and workplace investigations.
- Contribute to workforce planning, change management, and the implementation of key People & Culture initiatives.
- Closely collaborate with the broader People & Culture team to support organisational objectives and build strong working relationships across departments within Council.
About You:
- Proven experience in Business Partner roles with a generalist HR background, including significant exposure to ER/IR.
- Demonstrated experience in EA negotiations and the ability to navigate the complexities of local government agreements is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to work in-office as required and a willingness to collaborate closely with the team on-site is essential.
