Job Title: Talent Acquisition Professional

We are seeking a seasoned talent acquisition professional to join our team at an exciting opportunity.

This is a chance to be part of a dynamic and innovative team that drives change within the legal community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Recruiting industry-leading talent through direct sourcing, proactive market research, and ongoing relationship management;
    • Conducting thorough preliminary interviews and evaluating attorney candidates in partnership with the team;
    • Ensuring timely completion of all candidate correspondence as the main point of contact;
    • Evaluating client demand and assisting in managing our lawyer hiring strategy to ensure a consistent pipeline of candidates;
  • Talent Management:
    • Partnering with a group of ~25-40 legal professionals in defined legal practice area(s) to provide a best-in-class lawyer and client experience;
    • Managing all legal professionals from hire through retire, providing a top-notch lawyer and client experience;
    • Delivering against client requests for Talent, including identifying relevant Talent, liaising with the Sales team and Client to ensure match, and successfully closing each engagement in tandem with Sales team;
    • Identifying legal talent to fulfill client opportunities within their practice area, working directly with the Sales team and clients as appropriate to drive and win deals, contributing to company revenue and growth;
    • Developing a deep understanding of skills, practice areas, and industry experience across their specific legal practice area, being an authority on the state of the legal profession;
Requirements
  • 4+ years full cycle recruiting experience within a recruiting agency/staffing firm or in-house for a company; experience within the legal industry is beneficial but not required;
  • Strong interviewing capabilities to assess candidate skills, ability, suitability efficiently and quickly, particularly relating to the legal profession;
  • Deep sense of urgency, pace, and drive to ensure matching of our legal talent with the right client opportunities;
  • Poise, confidence, and gravitas to interact with highly experienced legal professionals;
  • Ability to work in a team environment, organise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes, and creatively problem-solve;
  • Excellent systems skills including Outlook, Excel, and Word;
