Job Title: HSE Professional

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our organization in Perth.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of corporate health, safety and environmental management system requirements, initiatives, and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regular site inspections and subcontractor health, safety and environmental audits and report on the results.
  • Assist with the implementation of QHSE components including policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance standards are managed, met and implemented for the project.
  • Assist with the identification of health, safety and environmental risks for the project and develop appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Drive positive safety performance outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement and produce detailed and accurate HSE reporting.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, safety and environment related disciplines.
  • Previous experience in a similar position with large scale commercial building construction projects.
  • Proven skills with developing, monitoring and implementing health, safety and environmental management systems.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to develop relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to promote a safe working environment and lead a strong safety culture.
