Senior Environmental Advisor Role

As a senior environmental professional, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our operational facilities and contributing to responsible energy production.

This permanent, site-based position is based in Darwin and requires a strong understanding of onshore environmental regulations and compliance frameworks.

  • Implement and maintain systems and procedures aligned with environmental management plans and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, including regulator engagement. Prepare and submit high-quality technical reports.
  • Oversee environmental compliance of contractor activities, including during shutdowns.
  • Lead investigations into environmental incidents or non-conformances.
  • Engage with internal teams, regulators, and other key stakeholders. Contribute to the development and delivery of annual environmental goals and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing complex technical documentation.
  • Experience working with contractors and resolving environmental or compliance issues.
  • Confidence in engaging with regulators, including audits and reporting.
  • A collaborative mindset, valuing empathy and cultural diversity.
