About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position on a 4:3 roster (Monday to Thursday), either FIFO from Darwin or Cairns, or residential on Groote Eylandt.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of environmental and social impact assessment studies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing mine management plans for exploration and mining activities
  • Assisting in obtaining regulatory approvals required to support exploration and capital projects
  • Identifying environmental and social risks associated with land access and regulatory approval pathways, and implementing corrective actions
  • Supporting consultants to deliver technical and social assessment related studies

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining and resources industry
  • Knowledge of Federal and Northern Territory environmental legislation and approval processes
  • Demonstrated expertise in environmental management and impact assessments
