About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Protection Specialist to join our team in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading pursuit, collaborating with account managers, and providing specialist expertise within the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline and use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.
  • Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action and follow established guidelines and interpret policies.
  • Maintain an outside-in view, stay abreast of competitors, leverage HPE's opportunities and mitigate challenges.
  • Actively hunt for solution opportunities in acquisition and development accounts to pursue new business.
  • Generate customer interest and link business & financial benefits with technology offerings.
  • Bring a customer-first approach to build stickiness through consultative engagements and financial constructs.
  • Laser focused on the channel to forge relationships, provide enablement of key technologies, and co-sell to end-users.
About You
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, interface with diverse business customers.
  • Typically, 6-10+ experience strongly desired.
  • Possesses expertise to be able to assess solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective, to determine qualify-in/qualify-out status.
  • Uses expertise to negotiate and drive deals, to ensure successful closure and a high win rate.
  • Possesses the ability to independently articulate the technical solution and the commercial benefits to the client.
  • Possesses knowledge of digital and modern methods to connect and sell.
  • Deep knowledge of storage, cloud, solution or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings, to be able to sell expansive systems or services and attached products.
  • Understands the outside-in view and possesses solid knowledge of industry trends.
