Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Category Manager to join our team, driving strategic direction and operational excellence in vendor management and procurement activities. As a key business partner, you will play a vital role in delivering measurable outcomes for the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Engage with all business stakeholders to understand current vendor performance and future requirements, enabling proactive planning and leadership of procurement activities.
  • Business Partnership: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to ensure business needs are met, including outcomes, value, performance, risk, ESG, etc.
  • Escalation Resolution: Support and manage the resolution of escalations to preserve TPG outcomes.
  • Category Management: Manage the portfolio of IT categories and vendors, working closely with business owners to deliver optimal value to TPG.
  • Savings and Cost Reduction: Identify and manage delivery of savings and cost reduction initiatives without compromising business objectives or quality/service scope.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Lead negotiations with vendors to ensure optimum outcomes while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
  • RFx Processes: Manage and lead RFx processes.
About You
  • Candidate Requirements: Commercial degree qualified or equivalent desirable.
  • Skills and Experience: Demonstrated ability to engage and work with key business stakeholders, experience negotiating and managing complex supplier contracts, and full understanding of the vendor lifecycle.
