As a People Business Partner, you will provide support, advice, and coaching to ensure leaders are empowered and equipped to adequately handle all people matters and to facilitate the delivery and application of Macmahon's people frameworks and initiatives into the business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to business leaders to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives and programs to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver HR solutions that meet business needs.
- Conduct analysis and provide insights to inform HR strategy and business decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience in the resources industry, preferably within mining.
- Proven working knowledge of contemporary people and culture practices and employee relations legislation.
- Able to communicate professionally across all levels of the company and build relationships with key business partners.
- Strong time management and mindfulness is valuable in our agile environment.
- Capable of working independently on an assigned portfolio but also as a collaborative team member.
- Proficient in the use of Success Factors or a similar HRIS to drive HR policy and operations.
