Senior Insurance Portfolio Manager

The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, primarily in the transport, construction, forestry, and heavy machinery sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Provide guidance on products, policies, and industry changes as the primary contact.
- Develop tailored insurance strategies aligned with each client's risk profile and business goals.
- Identify and capitalize on cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the client base.
- Collaborate with the team on new business development and marketing initiatives.
- Prepare and present proposals to secure and grow accounts.
- Manage the full policy lifecycle, including quotes, renewals, endorsements, and mid-term changes.
- Liaise with insurers and underwriters to ensure competitive pricing and optimal coverage.
- Maintain meticulous compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, and company procedures.
- Support clients through the claims process and advocate for timely and fair outcomes.
- Provide ongoing risk management advice and adjust strategies as businesses evolve.
