Job Opportunity

This is a full-time fixed-term Research Associate position within the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

  • The successful candidate will pursue defined projects, contribute to teaching and learning, and work collaboratively with industry stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in air quality and treatment, water quality and management, chemical and sensory odorant analysis, data science including bioinformatics and/or machine learning are highly valued.
  • Experience in working constructively with practitioners in the Australian water and resource industries, as well as undertaking high-quality academic research, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pursue scholarly research and professional activities through defined projects.
  • Contribute to teaching and learning in the School.
  • Work collaboratively with industry stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Air quality and treatment
  • Water quality and management
  • Chemical and sensory odorant analysis
  • Data science including bioinformatics and/or machine learning

Preferred Experience:
