
Strategic Business Proposition Lead

We are seeking an experienced Business Proposition Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative propositions that differentiate us in a competitive market.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing local market products and propositions with an innovative approach.
- Identifying trends and opportunities to enhance propositions; managing stakeholders; taking ideas through early-stage development with a pragmatic, 'fail fast' approach.
- Utilizing knowledge of global protection markets and UnderwriteMe data to find creative solutions.
- Collaborating with the Market Enablement and Protection teams to stay updated on relevant market developments.
- Leading data analysis efforts, focusing on trends affecting profitability and sales volumes.
- Analyzing data to generate insights that inform strategic decisions and initiatives.
- Presenting findings using statistical and visualization tools, providing data-driven recommendations to management and clients.
- Building strong relationships within the industry, especially with strategic clients, understanding their strategies and development plans.
- Influencing change based on insights, global expertise, and product developments at UnderwriteMe.
As a successful candidate, you will have:
- Strong technical experience in life (re)insurance.
- A qualified actuary with relevant post-qualification experience.
- A good understanding of the Australian and global life insurance markets.
- Highly analytical with creative problem-solving skills; strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in interpreting complex datasets.
