About the Role
Job DescriptionThis is a 12-month fixed-term role as a Claims Advisor with icare, supporting workers and employers through the claims process. The successful candidate will provide timely access to required services, ensuring effective return-to-work and injury recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality customer service to all parties involved.
- Provide accurate information and support in completing relevant documents for claims and entitlements.
- Conduct ongoing entitlement reviews for weekly payments and medical expenses.
- Collaborate with Injury Management Specialists and Technical Specialists on complex cases.
- Assist workers and employers in navigating the claim process and ensure timely access to required services.
- Facilitate active participation from injured workers and their employers in return-to-work and recovery planning.
- E nsure case management aligns with legislation and compliance guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in case management processes.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in personal injury, life insurance, or workers compensation, with a focus on complex cases.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
