
Senior Injury Claims Professional

This is a long-term fixed position that requires collaboration with workers and employers to streamline the claim process, providing timely access to services for injury recovery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop strong customer relationships and provide top-notch service to all parties including workers, employers, stakeholders, families, and support networks.
- Provide clear, concise information about claims, entitlements, and obligations in a manner that is easy to understand.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of worker entitlements in relation to weekly payments and medical expenses.
- Collaborate with injury management specialists and technical experts.
- Assist workers and employers in completing relevant documents to ensure timely access to required services for return to work and injury recovery.
- Facilitate active participation of injured workers and their employers in any return to work and recovery planning.
- Ensure case management aligns with legislation and compliance guidelines.
- Proactively manage cases to achieve optimal outcomes, prioritizing early sustainable return to work for workers at reasonable claim costs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous development.
- Offer guidance and support to colleagues when dealing with complex cases.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in personal injury, life insurance, or workers compensation working on complex cases.
- Strong understanding of workers insurance legislation and regulatory framework.
