The role of a Claims Advisor is to assist workers and employers in navigating the claims process, ensuring timely access to required services for injury recovery and return to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout the claims process.
  • Provide accurate and clear information on claim options, entitlements, obligations, and responsibilities, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Conduct ongoing entitlement reviews to ensure fairness and consistency in weekly payments and medical expenses.
  • Collaborate with Injury Management Specialists and Technical Specialists to deliver effective case management and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Support workers and employers in completing relevant documents, ensuring efficient access to required services and resources.
  • Facilitate active participation in return-to-work planning, promoting collaborative approaches to injury recovery and sustainable employment.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, driving innovation and excellence in claims management practices.
  • Serve as a point of guidance for Claims Officers, providing expertise and support in complex cases.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in personal injury, life insurance, or workers compensation, with a proven track record in managing complex cases.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks, ensuring seamless navigation of the claims process.
