Job Title: Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Claims Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term role that will provide an opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with a 35-hour working week. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting workers and employers with the claim process, providing support in the completion of relevant documents, and ensuring timely access to required services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong customer relationships and provide high-level customer service to all parties.
  • Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand.
  • Undertake ongoing entitlement reviews in relation to weekly payments and medical expenses.
  • Collaborate with Injury Management Specialists and Technical Specialists.
  • Facilitate active participation of the injured worker and their employer in return-to-work and recovery planning.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in personal injury, life insurance, or workers compensation working on complex cases.
  • Understanding of the legislation and regulatory framework relevant to workers insurance.
