Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals.

  • Undertake assessments to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Australian recognized degree qualification in Social Work (AASW).
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service to clients and customers.
  • Willingness to work in the community and have access to own vehicle.
  • Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
