About the Role

This is a key position in our capital analytics and reporting function, providing critical support to business stakeholders.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality reporting on capital generation and usage, supporting business decision-making.
  • Presentation of capital insights and findings to senior stakeholders, including the Capital Working Group.
  • Coordinating meeting materials for the Capital Working Group, including preparation of meeting agendas and collation of relevant information.
  • Interpreting prudential standards and advising on the capital implications of business activities.
  • Supporting external financial disclosures (Interim Financial Report, Annual Report and Results Presentation) and related analysis.
  • Contributing research and collating industry data to support capital planning initiatives.
  • Providing analytical support for the annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and APRA Industry Stress Tests.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of banking prudential standards, tertiary qualifications in Finance, Actuarial or Accounting, and experience within treasury, big four banks or consulting firms. A strong analytical mindset with ability to distil insights from large datasets and communicate findings effectively is required. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential, as well as SQL experience. TM1 expertise is advantageous.
