Take your career to the next level with an exciting opportunity to lead a purpose-built early childhood education center in Redfern. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Center Director to join our team.

About the Role

This is a 70-place center that caters to children aged 0-6 years, providing a nurturing environment for young minds to grow and develop. As Center Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the successful implementation of programs and systems, and developing a culture of inquiry and learning among staff and children.

You will have the autonomy to develop innovative evidence-based practices, lead change, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people and their families. Your exceptional leadership skills, passion for early childhood education, and ability to build strong relationships with staff, families, and the local community will be essential in driving the success of this center.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programs, systems, and operational processes to ensure the center's success
  • Ensure timely completion of reporting requirements
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers
  • Build strong professional relationships with families, children, and staff
  • Provide support, guidance, and mentoring to staff members
  • Manage budgets and expenditures within budget frameworks
  • Evaluate and maintain compliance with policies, procedures, legislation, and regulations
  • Organize rosters and staffing to meet the center's needs
  • Guide staff in their professional development and goal setting
