The Role

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Operator to join our Production team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating all machinery safely, preparing and inspecting product, bundling loads for delivery, and ensuring production requirements are met. You will also perform machinery maintenance and cleaning, and contribute to a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate all steel manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
  • Prepare and inspect product to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Bundling loads for delivery and ensuring production requirements are met
  • Performing machinery maintenance and cleaning to prevent downtime
  • Contributing to a safe working environment and maintaining high workplace safety standards
  • Gaining experience using an overhead gantry crane and driving forklifts (training will be provided)
