Operator/Loader

We are seeking an experienced Operator/Loader to join our Transport team in a full-time permanent capacity. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the operations in the Yard to ensure safe and effective production.

• Conduct pre-start checks on all equipment and machinery before it is used
• Report any faults to Supervisor immediately
• Drive/reverse trailers in the yard, cage and bar shop
• Ensure Safe load/unload of all trucks
• Stock count weekly
• Keep yard neat, tidy and safe
• Empty scape bins
• Work with manager to have yard set up
• Help load cells onto trucks
• Load Bar/Coil into shed

• Previous experience in production processes and quality control
• Physically fit and able to operate machinery
• Forklift licence
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organised with an ability to follow directions and safety requirements
• Good understanding of computer programming
• Truck licence (HR-MC) an advantage
• Training in COR requirements desirable
• First Aid qualification desirable
