Currumbin RSL is a renowned establishment that prides itself on delivering exceptional dining experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled Chef to join our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute menus that meet the establishment's standards, working closely with the Head Chef.
• Lead a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, adhering to strict hygiene regulations.
• Monitor kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity, and making adjustments as needed.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to prepare and present high-quality dishes, meeting customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of kitchen operations, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management.
• Proven experience as a Chef, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility with roster, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
