**Quick overview of the role**
We are currently seeking an experienced Operator/Loader to join our Currumbin Service Centre in full-time permanent capacities, with flexibility to work day and afternoon shifts. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for operating all machinery and vehicles in the service center while committing to your safety and that of the team. You will ensure that all loads are correctly produced, prepared, packed and loaded with a clear focus on safety.

You will receive thorough training and support to learn all aspects of the Operator/Loader role, and any future career development opportunities within the business. We are excited to offer a permanent role to a reliable and dedicated Operator/Loader with a willingness to learn, where monthly bonuses are up for grabs

**What will you be doing?**
- Safe unloading of heavy goods and materials & ensuring accuracy of receipt documentation
- Operating machinery, plant, and equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with company procedures
- Producing manufactured goods in accordance with specifications
- Picking and packing of sales orders in accordance with order requirements, company procedures and nominated work plan
- Conducting pre-start checks on plant, equipment, and machinery before use
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping at all times.
- Communicating with other staff in an effective manner to ensure a productive, cost effective & safe worksite
- Safe loading of vehicles within Safe Loading Guidelines and Chain of Responsibility legislation
- Completion of relevant documentation correctly & accurately
- A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new things
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Proactive and organised
- Respect others and embrace a diverse and inclusive workforce
- Forklift license and gantry crane experience desirable but not required
