Business Development Officer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Officer to join our Sales Team for a six month fixed term contract. This role will provide high level administration support to the Director of Sales and Sales team contributing to the team's overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in achieving sales targets and profit margins in line with business planning rounds and business plans.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal stakeholders and external market partners.
  • Control customer and prospect databases and sales pipelines; compile reporting monthly and when required, consolidate team wins and track lost business.
  • Liaise with other teams to assist with cross business opportunities and dealer network.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related discipline (preferred).
  • Effective sales management techniques, tools and processes.
