Project Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Director to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of health promotion programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and managing initiatives that aim to improve the health of people living in Sydney Local Health District.

About the Role:

The Project Director will contribute to the development and achievement of health promotion strategic directions and operations. They will lead health promotion practice, deliver evidence-informed, innovative health promotion programs, and integrate them with other services within the facility, the health system generally, and with other strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage health promotion programs aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Lead project planning, implementation, and evaluation of population health promotion programs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve program goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in health promotion, public health, marketing/communications, management, epidemiology, or other relevant discipline. They should also possess leadership skills, high-level experience in project planning and implementation, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
