About the Role

A key opportunity has arisen for an experienced Relationship Executive to join our Commercial team at Bank of Queensland. As a Relationship Executive, you will be responsible for originating, retaining, and managing a portfolio of clients. Your primary focus will be on a Health specialist portfolio, with the support of a dedicated analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote our commercial product offering to core clients to determine their financial situation and objectives, discussing options for the client and developing tailored solutions.
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed individual margin and volume targets and performance objectives with a strong focus on book growth.
  • Drive the direction and performance of the Specialist, including client acquisition, volume/margin, and primary client relationship and satisfaction.
  • Partner with the Associate Relationship Manager to develop ongoing and quality client relationships.
  • Manage relationships with clients, leveraging and aligning internal resources to maximise client satisfaction and retention.
  • In conjunction with clients' accountants, proactively work with clients to understand their financial objectives and help implement plans to realise these objectives.

About You

We are seeking a candidate with previous experience in commercial lending, who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in commercial lending.
  • Tertiary education desirable.
  • Small business experience desirable.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to meet KPI targets.
  • Analytical skills.
