Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to create vibrant and inclusive spaces for communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, activation, and managing key public areas in regional settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Building relationships with the community as their central point of contact for council-related matters;
  • Engaging with the community to understand their needs and using that information for strategic planning;
  • Managing council-affiliated community working groups and committees;
  • Maintaining governance compliance;
  • Coordinating and monitoring projects and resources.
Requirements
  • Nsw Drivers Licence
  • Degree in Business, Town Planning, Communications or Community Engagement, or relevant tertiary qualification; OR significant practical experience typically 3-5 years in Community Engagement, Community Liaison and/or Business Management
  • Experience in community engagement including committee management, issues management, event and project management;
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
