
Regional Community Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to create vibrant and inclusive spaces for communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, activation, and managing key public areas in regional settings.
Main Responsibilities- Building relationships with the community as their central point of contact for council-related matters;
- Engaging with the community to understand their needs and using that information for strategic planning;
- Managing council-affiliated community working groups and committees;
- Maintaining governance compliance;
- Coordinating and monitoring projects and resources.
- Nsw Drivers Licence
- Degree in Business, Town Planning, Communications or Community Engagement, or relevant tertiary qualification; OR significant practical experience typically 3-5 years in Community Engagement, Community Liaison and/or Business Management
- Experience in community engagement including committee management, issues management, event and project management;
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
