About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position that will play a critical role in the success of our Fleet Services Branch. As a Coordinator - Business Operations (Fleet), you will be responsible for leading a team to develop and implement customer service, parts supply, inventory management, and assets administrative functions. You will also provide project coordination, direction, and advice in relation to procurement, administration, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the fleet business operations team to ensure the fleet branch acts with integrity to deliver timely, efficient, and effective operational support.
  • Ensure preventative and routine maintenance are of the highest standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the financial, procurement, and administrative functions for all council vehicles and plant, to support the delivery of quality asset accounting.
  • Contribute to a safe and positive workplace culture.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications and proven experience in the delivery of administrative and/or customer services.
  • A minimum of a current C Class drivers licence.
  • Experience in supervising administration teams and ability to apply coaching approaches.
  • Broad knowledge of Local Government procurement and contract management principles.
