
DEI Change Leader

Deliver impactful change through a globally aligned Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy.
As a senior advisor, you will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our global DEI strategy, ensuring it aligns with corporate objectives, ESG goals and client expectations. You will develop, track and evaluate DEI metrics, informing programs and reporting on impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a global DEI strategy that drives business outcomes and enhances our reputation as a leader in diversity and inclusion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership teams, regional HR functions, clients and community organisations.
- Conduct global trend analysis and benchmarking to ensure best practice alignment and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including the Workplace Gender Equality Agency and Disability Inclusion Acts.
- Partner with regional teams to create regionally relevant DEI action plans with measurable outcomes.
- Support programs such as inclusive recruitment, employee resource groups and leadership development with a DEI lens.
- Lead initiatives to improve workforce diversity across gender, Indigenous employment and other underrepresented groups.
- Embed DEI principles in workforce planning and business operations as a trusted partner to senior leaders.
- Engage with stakeholders, including industry bodies and community organisations, to drive positive change.
Requirements
We seek a professional with a tertiary degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or related field, and 7+ years of leadership experience in DEI. Candidates should have expertise in cultural safety, gender equity, Indigenous engagement and inclusive practices. Experience in designing and implementing global DEI strategies is essential, especially within industries like mining, construction or engineering.
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of DEI frameworks, project management, data analysis and reporting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are required, along with stakeholder influence, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
