Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement/Contracts Administrator to join our Melbourne office and contribute to the success of our Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP).
In this role, you will work closely with our Commercial Team to assist in the management of contracts, ensuring that all contractual processes and reporting requirements are met. You will be responsible for preparing and executing RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, Non-Disclosure Agreements, subcontract modifications, and supplier quality approvals. Additionally, you will process invoices for Commercial and Government subcontracts, resolve associated problems, and maintain files in compliance with L3Harris policies and government requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to communicate effectively with all levels of management and program teams, and to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. You will also have a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience, or a combination of coursework and practical experience that demonstrates business acumen, compliance, legal, negotiations skills, analytical mindset, strategy development and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Commercial Team in the preparation and execution of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, Non-Disclosure Agreements, subcontract modifications, and supplier quality approvals.
- Process invoices for Commercial and Government subcontracts and resolve associated problems.
- Maintain files in compliance with L3Harris policies and government requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the broader Commercial Team to ensure contractual compliance and governance requirements are met.
- Contribute to the wider program team in achieving outcomes and ensuring all commitments are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain, Contract Management, Finance, Commerce, Law, etc.) from a recognized institution, and/or equivalent relevant commercial experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Possess excellent communication skills, quality commitment, customer focus, strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable.
