Procurement Specialist

Our client, a successful company in the utilities industry, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their growing function.
This role is integral to the function and prioritizes expanding their supplier base.
The Procurement Specialist will provide expert procurement guidance to foster effective market engagement and align purchases with business goals.
The role involves leading the source-to-contract procurement process, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with procurement standards.
The Procurement Specialist will also oversee project management tasks related to sourcing and contracting, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
Additionally, the role involves creating procurement reports and dashboards that highlight market trends and insights, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The Procurement Specialist will collaborate with stakeholders to develop high-value, complex tender documentation and facilitate thorough evaluations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years experience in a procurement role, indirect procurement experience, and a tertiary qualification in business management, supply chain management or a related discipline.
