Career Opportunity: Project Cost Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Cost Specialist to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. As a key member of our project delivery unit, you will be responsible for managing cost control processes, providing accurate forecasts, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Your primary focus will be on coordinating the collection, recording, and reporting of forecast project costs, as well as assisting with submissions to funding authorities. You will also contribute to cost planning, budget allocation, core forecasting, cash flow forecasting, cost review, variance analysis, and cost reporting across work programs.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in cost control or estimation roles within industrial or commercial construction projects; or at least 2 years of experience in civil roads infrastructure construction projects with any Australian state government road authority or Australian council.
Desirable Experience:
  • Prior experience working with disaster funding arrangements is highly advantageous.
