Infrastructure Project Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced project control specialist to join our team in a key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting end-to-end cost control across the full lifecycle of a major infrastructure project.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform earned value and productivity analysis to support delivery confidence
  • Collaborate with contractors to ensure cost allocations are accurate and consistent
  • Produce detailed cost engineering reports and forecasts
  • Support time/work studies and site measures as required
  • Identify cost risks and opportunities and communicate these effectively to the broader team
  • Maintain strict adherence to project cost control procedures and systems
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, including project controls, commercial, and site teams
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related field
  • 8+ years of project controls or cost engineering experience in major construction, infrastructure or mining projects
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in cost management systems
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of forecasting and earned value techniques
  • Excellent communication skills — verbal and written — with the ability to collaborate across disciplines
  • Comfortable working in a site-based role within a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Working Conditions:

The role is on a 5/2 FIFO roster flying from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. A relocation package can be provided for those open to relocating to a regional location.
