About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Specialist to join our team. As a Cost Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining cost management systems and processes for complex projects and programs across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project cost plans that align with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to secure support, resources, and buy-in for financial performance objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior management and stakeholders on project cost performance, ensuring forecasts and budgets are up-to-date, accurate, and reflect the current status of the project.
  • Deliver expertise in project cost control and financial management tools, including Excel, SAP, Oracle, and similar ERP systems.
  • Identify and resolve cost-related issues promptly and effectively, minimizing disruptions to financial targets and timelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, construction management, or a related field; Master's degrees are advantageous.
  • 5-8 years of experience in managing cost controls for complex projects and programs across different industries.
  • Deep understanding of cost control processes, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong financial acumen, communication, problem-solving, and project cost management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work within large and complex organizations.
  • Proactive, confident, and engaging personality.
