We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team. As a Cost Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal functional and advisory role in the successful execution of our clients' projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to establish, manage and maintain cost management systems and processes. You will work closely within a team of professionals to utilize your expertise in cost control tools and methodologies to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance tracking.

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong financial acumen, communication, problem-solving, and project cost management skills. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and manage comprehensive project cost plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to secure support, resources, and buy-in for financial performance objectives.
  • Providing regular updates and reporting to senior management and stakeholders to provide real-time visibility into project cost performance.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, construction management or a related field, and 5–8 years of experience in managing cost controls for complex projects and programs across different industries including infrastructure. Additionally, they should have a deep understanding of cost control processes, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, with 5+ years of hands-on experience using tools such as Excel, SAP, Oracle or other cost management software.
