About the Opportunity
EML is seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to join our team in Adelaide. As a Technical Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert guidance and support to our team members to ensure the successful delivery of claims outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of workers compensation claims and legislation to provide informed advice and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize business outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of training packages and modules to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Participate in employer claims reviews and provide technical support to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
- Work closely with the Project Office to develop and update business processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
About You
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the workers compensation industry.
- Strong technical expertise in workers compensation claims and legislation.
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members in the workers compensation industry.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of the Return to Work Act 2014 and associated regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one area of claims management or a technical specialist background.
