We are seeking an exceptional Cargo Operations Leader to oversee our cargo delivery operations. This individual will be responsible for managing work areas, providing coaching and mentoring, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a customer-centric cargo operation, overseeing work areas during operational shifts
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation to meet operational requirements and Service Level Agreements
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, legislation, and policies
  • Monitor business processes and provide quality metrics and reporting on critical issues
  • Foster a positive safety culture within the team, emphasizing awareness and vigilance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience and commitment to driving a customer-centric service culture
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Previous experience in regulated industries, with ability to lead compliance and implement standard operations
  • Understanding of financial and budget processes, with ability to drive business improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of Hermes Cargo Operations System
