At a leading cargo operation, we are seeking dedicated leaders to support and lead our team as Cargo Service Delivery Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a customer-centric cargo operation by supervising, organizing, and coordinating all work areas during an operational shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a customer-centric cargo operation: Supervise, organize, and coordinate all work areas during an operational shift.
  • On-the-job coaching and mentoring: Achieve high levels of performance and service excellence through on-the-job team coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Resource allocation: Ensure the efficient and effective allocation of resources to deliver operational requirements and meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Business processes: Deliver to and monitor business processes and standard operating procedures ensuring compliance to industry standards, legislation, and policy.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Quality metrics: Provide quality metrics and reporting on critical business issues.
  • Safety culture: Reinforce a positive safety culture within the team focused on awareness and vigilance.
Essential Criteria:
  • Leadership experience: Demonstrated leadership experience and a commitment to driving a customer-centric service culture within the team.
  • Communication skills: Good communication skills both written and oral and negotiation skills.
  • Computer literacy: High level of computer literacy.
  • Compliance: Previous experience in a highly controlled and regulated industry with the ability to lead, translate, implement, and manage ongoing compliance, industry standards, and legislative requirements into standard operations.
  • Financial knowledge: Understanding of financial and budget processes and ability to drive business improvement initiatives.
  • Cargo operations: Good knowledge and understanding of Hermes Cargo Operations System.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Airline industry knowledge: Previous experience in or knowledge of airline industry principles and procedures.
  • Cargo handling knowledge: Knowledge of all aspects of cargo handling and warehouse.
