Assessment and Analytics Specialist

The University of Notre Dame Australia seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to work closely with the Head of Assessment in the School of Medicine.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake item analysis, calculating standard set pass marks, Cronbach's alpha, and corrected total-item correlations to evaluate assessment programs.
  • Generate reports, tables, and graphs to support student progress and quality improvement.
  • Produce annual student progress reports and upload them to Blackboard for student access.
  • Create student reports for 'students at risk' exam review sessions.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the line manager or Dean of Medicine.
Requirements
  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field or specialist area of medical practice is essential.
  • Experience in longitudinal data analytics and report development is required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with staff to maintain effective systems and processes is necessary.
  • Engagement in assessment practice scholarship for quality improvement is also expected.
  • Fostering relationships and communication with assessment team members and school academic staff is a key aspect of this role.
